Week9

There are a lot of special products in Gunma prefecture. For example vegetables, Konnyaku, potato and so on. They are very delicious because Gunma's water is clean. So I think vegetables become more delicious. If you visit Gunma prefecture, please drink water. I think you would be amased. In these circumstance, vegetable become Gunma's special products.

 

1.    Konnyaku

In Gumma Prefecture, konnyaku is very often eaten. Konnyaku has various ways of eating.For example Sashimi, Nikomi, Dengaku, so on. All the ways of eating are delicious. The way of eating which I like is Sashimi. It is very delicious although it is how to only eat dipping soy sauce in konnyaku. Why is konnyaku eaten in large numbers in Gumma Prefecture? It is the causes with main much konnyaku being made in Gumma Prefecture. Gumma Prefecture is environment suitable for growing konnyaku. Since there are many mountains, water is abundant. Moreover, the water is also clean. The mountain cleans rain water. The place which is growing konnyaku is the high ground of a mountain. Therefore, a temperature difference is acute. Konnyaku becomes delicious according to a temperature difference. By the above two reasons, Gumma Prefecture is prosperous in konnyaku cultivation. Gumma Prefecture is growing konnyaku most in the whole country. Please eat the konnyaku of Gumma once. I recommend with confidence.

2.    vegitables

Many vegetables are grown by Gumma Prefecture. The main vegetables currently produced in Gumma are a cucumber, a cabbage, a spinach, a Welsh onion, and a strawberry. As for the cucumber, most is grown with the institution. Therefore, the person of a farmhouse generally grows a cucumber in spring and autumn. As a feature, a size is not large . However, the taste is solid. The cucumber of Gumma resembles the common cucumber.

キャベツ Next, I would like to introduce a cabbage. Gumma Prefecture is very prosperous in production of a cabbage. There is most quantity of production of the cabbage of Gumma Prefecture in Japan. The Tsumagoi cabbage is famous in Gumma. The cabbage of Gumma is grown in the place where altitude is high. Therefore, a cabbage becomes sweet. A cabbage is usually made in Gumma Prefecture in summer and autumn. They are made using cool climate. However, there is also a cabbage made specially in winter and spring. The cabbage is often made in Maebashi and Isesaki. That is, the cabbage is built with Gumma Prefecture at every place.

いちご「やよいひめ」Next, what is introduced is a spinach. The spinach is grown through every year. The spinach is grown at every place in Gumma Prefecture. Most spinaches are made on the flat ground. What is introduced at the end is a strawberry. Although seldom known, Gumma Prefecture is prosperous in cultivation of a strawberry. My acquaintance is making the strawberry. It helped harvesting a strawberry. He remembers that the strawberry which I harvested was very delicious. It is the very good recollections as my child.


There are also many specialties which were not able to be introduced this time. Please taste the specialty of Gumma once.
