Week 8

Week 8 I would like to write about culture. There are a lot of culture in Gunma prefecture. For example food, festival ,and so on. In This week I want you know Gunma's culture.

1Food

Do you know Gunma's famous food? Okiricomi, Yakimanjyu, Torimeshi are Gunma's famous food.

・Yakimanjyu is the manjyu whitout anko. Although it is sweet, there is also the somewhat salty taste in it. It is famous sweets in Gumma Prefecture. The specialty store of Yakimanjyu is located in large numbers in Gumma. It is often eaten at the time of a festival. I also often ate it from a child's time. It is favorite, and when it returns to Gumma, I would like to eat it even now. Please eat it once.

・Okiricomi is also famous food in Gunma. It is the food with which the thick field is contained in the soup of the bean paste taste. Moreover, many vegetables are contained in it and it is very delicious. If it is eaten, the body will get warm very. When some events occur, it is often taken out. The thickness of noodles is about 2 cm . It is not so easy to eat. This was also often eaten a long time ago. In my house, it appeared in supper well. It was one of the favorite dishes of mine.

・Torimeshi is a lunch. It is one of the most common lunch in Gumma Prefecture. Tare is attached to it and it is very delicious. It is not expensive . Moreover, pickles are attached to it. The pickles are very delicious. I had got it from my friend well. When you come to Gumma, please eat it to a lunch once.

2festival

There are a lot of festival in Gunma prefecture. For example Maebashi fire works, Takasaki festival.

・The Maebashi fireworks display is the biggest fireworks display in Gumma Prefecture. People gather for seeing a fireworks display from other prefectures. Many fireworks are launched. Especially the fireworks currently called "air Niagara" are very beautiful. It was very beautiful when I saw this fireworks display once. The quantity and the form of fireworks which are launched are great. Moreover, sound is very loud if it sees nearby. Since it does not understand unless it actually experiences, please carry out.

・The Takasaki festival is one of the biggest festivals in Gumma Prefecture. There are many stalls in the Takasaki festival and there are also many people. I often eat fried noodles at a stall. The Takasaki festival is always overflowing with vigor. Since it is the biggest festival, please carry out.
